2024 Sydney School Term Activities
All activities will run from 4:30-7:30pm
Online / Computer Life Skills will be conducted at Bankstown Library
Our Life Skills programs are NDIS funded. Our fun activities empower social skills, development and positive relationships in groups. This includes fun activities with a range of physically and mentally stimulating environments.
The program is intended to provide our clients with a range of fun activities that empower their social skills development and assist them with positive relationships with peers and support workers.
Each day is unique with its own theme and activity to provide a diverse range of skill set to assist in developing their positive mindset.
Cooking
Program
Learn how to prepare a healthy meal and cook independently
Program Outcome
Make your own cookbook with recipes your cooked through out the program
Fitness
Training
Exercise correctly and regularly to keep an active and healthy lifestyle

Get physically fit and gain knowledge on how maintain a healthy lifestyle
Life Skills, Travel, Computer Training
Learn how to read travel timetables, buy a ticket and plan your day. Develop computer skills and online payments and browsing
Program Outcome
Increase confidence and independence with travel. Develop digital independence skills.
Art Program
Learn how to express yourself through different art activities
Program Outcome
Use your art skills and techniques to paint or make your masterpiece
Go Karting
Learn how to care for, maintain and drive a Go Kart
Program Outcome
Use your skills from Go Karts to cars and become a professional
Participation in the community has an incredibly positive effect on your physical, mental and social health and well-being. Positive changes can be achieved in areas such as:
- Emotional awareness and self-regulation
- Develop skills and interests to create pathways which lead to positive employment opportunities
- Maintaining personal well-being, self-awareness and self-care
- Increase in confidence, independence and self-esteem
- Achieve higher independence and social responsibility
Inclusions
All daily activity programs include a meal, support staff, and program resources.
Food
Please ensure you let us know of any specific dietary requirements and allergies.
Medication
If your child needs us to administer medication during their time at the program, please complete the medication management section on the registration form.

Other Important Information
This program is suitable for children who can be supported in a group environment. If at any stage you need to cancel or amend your booking, please ensure you allow adequate time for the change to be made, as cancellation fees will apply (24 hours notice). Activities are provisional and subject to change unexpectedly due to the weather.
